Constructivism teaching is letting your students be involved in their learning process. It's letting them tell you where they are knowledge wise, how they learn, and letting them figure out what is best for them. I can go on and on about this teaching style; however, this short video can sum it in in a little time. Take the time to watch it, and see if this style is for you. Please let me know either way if this is for you or you're against this style.
Flipping the classroom is considered new; however, it has been around for 15 years. So why are people so afraid to use this method? Some are afraid of the technology to be able to use this method. That's what's so great about flipping the classroom! You decide how you flip it, what you use, and what is best for your students. I have seen flipping the classroom in practice, and when executed correctly, it works wonders with the students, saves class time to focus on helping students, and students aren't bored during class time. Below is a little video explaining flipping the classroom at a deeper level. After reading this and watching the video, please feel free to take the poll and leave comments on what works with your flipped classroom or why you will never flip your classroom.
